Hunt Lake is a lake worth visiting. And if that's not enough there's a load more amusing stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Go for a hike on the Fooses Creek Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Arkansas River. All through the summer months at Hunt Lake highs are generally in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Hunt

| | Lake drop into the-20's. Not much precipitation falls here at Hunt Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is June.

Lakes? Sure, Boss Lady Reservoir is nearby; do pop by Boss Lake Dam since you're here. Yeah, come here
to Hunt Lake for a perfect time. If you need a location to stay Buena Vista Super 8 Motel is a great choice; on a beautiful day you acquire a great view of Bald Mountain from Hunt Lake. Now, you may think that's loads but there's
even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range. Why not camp at Monarch Park Campground while you're here at Hunt Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Garfield Campground is a fine place to camp.
