Hunkydory Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Near Hunkydory Lake you discover the Browns Creek Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and do set aside some time for Hoffman Park since you're here at Hunkydory Lake. The Fooses Creek Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Hunkydory Lake, and float down the rapids of Arkansas River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Arkansas River offers some good whitewater, and Hunkydory Lake is close to Columbus Gulch which is without doubt worth a visit. Hunkydory Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll like Hunkydory Lake. A pleasant place to camp here at Hunkydory Lake
is Monarch Park Campground; North Fork Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. And that's not everything you can do here in the Sawatch Range. After a long day outdoors Buena Vista Super 8 Motel is a pleasant site to spend
a night or two, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by North Fork Reservoir.
From Hunkydory Lake you obtain a wonderful vista of Mount Aetna; going for a hike on the Quakey Mountain Trail
is always a delightful adventure. So many entertaining things to do here at Hunkydory Lake, too good to be true. The warmest time of the year at Hunkydory Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's.
The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Hunkydory Lake.
