Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hughes Reservoir, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. There's whitewater on Colorado River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and why not head up to Sunlight Mountain and strap some skis to your feet.       At Hughes Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; October is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Roaring Fork; if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Glenwood SPGS Golf Club.
