     The Badger Hills towers over Huerfano Lake; lots of people from Pueblo come here. Huerfano Lake is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Pueblo Koa Kampground is a delightful location to camp nearby; if you need a place to stay Cambria Suites Pueblo is a good choice. Summertime at Huerfano Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets  
   highs in the 40's with temperatures at Huerfano Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. There are other places here than Huerfano Lake, for example McFarland Reservoir Number 1; a splendid nearby hotel is Pueblo Marriott.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Lodge Lake is around here, and a good panorama of striking Badger Hills is available. It is very dry here at Huerfano Lake mostly; most of the rain falls throughout July while February is the
 
               month with the least amount of precipitation. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are really abundant here at Huerfano Lake. Fort's RV and Mobile Home Park is a glorious campground nearby.

And also the mutated fish that the people think that are in the lake. I think they should be either gotten rid of or sent to labs to be tested on....I think they should leave the lake the way it is, but it should at least be cleaned....I think that we shouldn't bring something into the city limits that is destroying something in the mountains. Those beetles shouldn't come and eat the trees it is a hazard....
