A visit to Houts Reservoir is always a good idea. A lovely lake like Lower Hoffman Lake in close proximity to Houts Reservoir is a great place to have a look at, and Ptarmigan Country Club is a golf course nearby. If the weather is wonderful here at Houts Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Round Mountain Trail, and lots of people from Fort Collins-Loveland come here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a scenic lake called Westerdoll
Lake near Houts Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Residence Inn by Marriott Loveland is a glorious choice. At Houts Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
