Upper House Dam has pleasant water scenery and it's       close to House Reservoir; lakes are such peaceful spots, why not check out Clayton Reservoir. House Reservoir is pretty dry regularly; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is January. House Reservoir is a good site to visit for more than one day, Parkview Campground is a good site to camp nearby; do take a hike on the Grassy Run Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than House Reservoir, for example Upper                  House Reservoir; Never Summer Nordic is a delightful local campground. Summertime highs at House Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's.
