Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Hotter Brothers Lake. Line Canyon is a tremendous location to discover, and the skiing at Silverton is perfect. Hiking along the East Fork Trail is good fun, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Columbine Lake is one of those nearby. Nearby lakes? Sure, Hatter Pond is in the neighborhood of Hotter Brothers Lake, and Animas River       has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. The amount of precipitation that falls at Hotter Brothers Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls all through August; the driest month is June. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Highline Trail, and Purgatory Lodge by Durango Mountain Resorts is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A good sight of beautiful Castle Rock is available from Hotter Brothers Lake,                  and paddling on Canyon Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Hotter Brothers Lake is right by the Circle Trail, and if you need a location to stay Cascade Village is a pleasant choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hotter Brothers Lake has to offer, you can camp at Purgatory Campground; Lake of the Pines Dam is a site that is in close proximity to Hotter Brothers Lake. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. Kendall Mountain is a great local ski area. There's so much to do here at Hotter Brothers Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Haviland Lake Campground is a great place for that; there's some flowing water close by, Elbert Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Hotter Brothers Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's.
