     After a long day outdoors Purgatory Lodge by Durango Mountain Resorts is a good place to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Canyon Creek offers some nice whitewater. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hotter Brothers Lake. A quick tour to Elbert Creek near Hotter Brothers Lake is a good idea. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Highline Trail; an attention-grabbing thing to pop by close  
   to Hotter Brothers Lake is Lake of the Pines Dam. This lake is so wonderful. At Hotter Brothers Lake you can see Castle Rock, and if you need a site to stay Cascade Village is a magnificent choice.
Hotter Brothers Lake gets a typical amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Silverton. You'll
 
               need more than a day to look at everything Hotter Brothers Lake has to offer, you can camp at Purgatory Campground. You might want to pay a visit to Line Canyon while you're here at Hotter Brothers Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Animas River.
Throughout the summer at Hotter Brothers Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Hotter Brothers Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Nearby lakes?
