     This lake is so wonderful. This site is so good, just check out all the fun things to do near Hotchkiss Reservoir. Hotchkiss Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Iron Spring Campground is a pleasant local campground, and lakes are such serene locations, why not stop at V H Pasture Reservoir. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Fairmont Franz Klammer  
   Lodge; going for a hike on the Paradox Road is always a brilliant adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Hotchkiss Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Montrose for sure; there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Horsefly Trail. During the months of summer here at Hotchkiss Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets
 
               highs in the 30's while Hotchkiss Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. A great place to camp here at Hotchkiss Reservoir is Antone Spring Campground; you'll come across a gorgeous lake called Z K Reservoir.
Hotchkiss Reservoir gets very little rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. San Miguel River is a magnificent whitewater spot near Hotchkiss Reservoir, and there are magnificent sites to look at along the Dry Creek Trail.
Having a brilliant time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is simple. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Miguel River, and if you need a place to stay Mountain Lodge at Telluride is a wonderful choice.
