What would winter be without some skiing at Monarch, and Hot Springs Creek Dam is a site that is in close proximity to Hot Springs Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Coyote Park Trail is always a great adventure; if you came for an overnight stay Pitkin Campground is a magnificent place to camp. Camping is available at Monarch Valley Ranch; Lower Waunita Hot Springs is always fun to check       out. Summertime at Hot Springs Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 30's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Hot Springs Reservoir tend to be in the-10's. Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is a very good spot to stop by near Hot Springs Reservoir, and a brilliant spot is Box Canyon. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors,                  just come on down to Hot Springs Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Quakey Mountain Trail; at Hot Springs Reservoir you can distinguish Tomichi Dome. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Gunnison/Crested Butte is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are delightful places to discover along the Pitkin Stock Driveway; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Taylor River.
