Squaw Pass is a magnificent location to go to close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hossick Lake is right by the Fern Creek Stock Driveway, and dry warm beds await you at Keyah Grande Resort. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Just can't get enough of Hossick Lake. If you need a location to stay Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a nice choice, and Cimarrona Campground is a great campground nearby. Whohoo,       so many amusing things in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains is so good! Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rio Grande. Lakes are glorious; Squaw Lake is a lake that's near Hossick Lake. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Going for a hike along the Middle Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Hossick                  Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Teal Campground is a great place to camp nearby. A typical amount of rain falls here at Hossick Lake; August is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Hiking along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway is glorious fun, and not far from Hossick Lake you'll find Williams Reservoir which is a wonderful lake. High temperatures at Hossick Lake through the summer months are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Hossick Lake.
