    In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Horseshoe Lake is one of them. Places like Lost Solar Park are wonderful to stop at; close by you find the Fayville Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Whitewater paddling is good on White River - North Fork, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sunlight Mountain. Camping at Horseshoe Lake is great fun, East Marvine Campground is a great local campground, and here at Horseshoe Lake you  
   can make out Timber Mountain.
So many cool things to do here at Horseshoe Lake, too nice to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Red Mountain Inn, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Oyster Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Marvine Creek Campground while you're here at Horseshoe Lake, and going for a hike on the Bailey Lake Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Paddling on White River - South Fork is so much fun;
 
               if you need a site to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a good choice.
Around Horseshoe Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; October is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime at Horseshoe Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Horseshoe Lake.
