It's always fun to stop by Horseshoe Lake. Having a good time in the Sawatch Range is trouble-free. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Eagle River, and The Pines Lodge is a brilliant place to get some rest. You'll come across a pretty lake called Big Lake near Horseshoe Lake; since you're here you can take a hike along the New York Mountain Trail. The snow is great at Beaver Creek, and the peak of Gold Dust Peak can be observed from Horseshoe Lake. This lake

| | is so wonderful. While you're here at Horseshoe Lake, you could also visit beautiful Big Pine Lake; camping is available at Yeoman Park Campground. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Horseshoe Lake. A splendid close by hotel is Hyatt Mountain Lodge, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Ironedge Trail. your trip here you'll meet some people from Edwards for sure. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Sawatch Range has to offer. Going for a
hike along the Lake Charles Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and camping at Fulford Cave Campground is always a fine experience. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Horseshoe
Lake. Horseshoe Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month of the year is February. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Horseshoe Lake highs are generally in the 80's,
and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Horseshoe Lake are in the 0's. Negro Basin is a good place here at Horseshoe Lake; paddling on Fryingpan River is so much fun.
