If you are in Eagle county it's always a good idea to stop by Horseshoe Lake. This spot, the Sawatch Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Near Horseshoe Lake you discover the Ironedge Trail which is a good hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Yeoman Park Campground is a pleasant spot for that. If you need a spot to stay The Pines Lodge is a great choice, and Horseshoe Lake is not the only

| | site close by, Gold Dust Lakes is a close by lake. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Horseshoe Lake. Stay the night at Fulford Cave Campground, and Gold Dust Peak can be made out from Horseshoe Lake. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Sawatch Range. Lake called the New York Mountain Trail, and a lake close by is Big Lake. High temperatures at Horseshoe Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place
gets highs in the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Horseshoe Lake tend to be in the 0's. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Horseshoe Lake, too great to be true. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling
on Eagle River; everybody close by loves skiing at Beaver Creek. It is very dehydrated here at Horseshoe Lake ordinarily; July is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
The slopes of Vail are so inviting nobody can resist, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Lake Charles Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. You're sure to run into some cheerful people from Edwards here, and dry warm beds await you at Hyatt Mountain Lodge.

 | 13 miles away Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
