If you are in Eagle county it's always a good idea to stop by Horseshoe Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. The snow is splendid at Vail. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Head up to Beaver Creek and strap some skis to your feet, and you're sure to come across some wonderful folks from Edwards here.
This lake is so wonderful. Horseshoe Lake is right by the Lake Charles Trail, and Gold Dust Peak is wonderful

Camping at Fulford Cave Campground is always a magnificent experience; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Fryingpan River. Going for a hike along the Ironedge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; Big Lake is a tremendous lake nearby.

long day outdoors Centennial Condominiums is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Eagle River offers some perfect whitewater, and camping is available at Yeoman
Park Campground. Horseshoe Lake gets very little rain; July is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
Through the warmest time of the year at Horseshoe Lake temperatures are usually in the
80's with night lows in the 40's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Horseshoe Lake. So many cool things to do here at Horseshoe Lake, too brilliant to be true. Negro Basin is a splendid place, and dry warm beds await you at Arrowhead Village.
