Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit San Miguel River, and a perfect location to camp here at Horsefly Trail Reservoir Number 2 is Iron Spring Campground. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn  
   Montrose is a great spot to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. The good folks of Montrose like to hang out close by, and there are good places to discover along the Cottonwood Trail. Horsefly Trail Reservoir Number 2 is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Horsefly Trail Reservoir Number 2 is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Antone Spring Campground is a perfect
 
               local campground, and soar down the rapids of San Miguel River in a kayak.
Big Red Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and going for a hike on the Horsefly Trail is always a glorious adventure. Summertime highs at Horsefly Trail Reservoir Number 2 usually tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Horsefly Trail Reservoir Number 2 drop into the 0's. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Sanborn Park is a brilliant place to check out, and a splendid spot is Red Canyon.
