From the skating rink in the village square to chocolate-chip cookies served fresh from the oven each afternoon at the lifts, and from the ''Ivy League ski school'' to the world-famous performing arts center, this is perhaps the very best of luxury family skiing. Upper Piney Lake
 | 19 miles away We had a great time hiking to Upper Piney Lake over 4th of July weekend, 2006. Although the views are out of this world, the hike will take everything out of you that you've got. I would highly recommend this hike. Make sure you have everything you need for AT LEAST 2 days. The hike to Upper Piney will take 8 hours (all up hill)...But only 4 hours to get back to Piney River Ranch.... |
