Co is a great site to get some rest, and Hovenweep National Monument is a very good location to go to. If you need a place to stay Dunton Hot Springs is a nice choice, and whitewater paddling is good on Dolores River.
There's
so much to do here at Hoppe Point Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Dolores River RV Park is a glorious location for that; while you're here you can take a hike along the Ormiston Point Stock Driveway. Hoppe Point Reservoir is not the only site nearby, Calf Reservoir is a nearby lake.
