     Camping is available at Mc Phee Mobile Home and RV Park, and dry warm beds await you at National 9 Inn - Sand Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Dolores River for all you adrenaline kick people; Salter Canyon Spring is an inspiring place to go to during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Hoppe Point Number Three Reservoir, you'll come across Log Camp Number Two Reservoir which is a charming lake. At Hoppe Point Number Three  
   Reservoir you don’t see much rain; through the month of October you get the most rain around here while June is usually the driest month.
Summertime highs at Hoppe Point Number Three Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Hoppe Point Number Three Reservoir drop into the 10's. Lakes are
 
               good; Log Camp Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Hoppe Point Number Three Reservoir; if you haven’t been to Hovenweep National Monument, you must schedule some time for it if you're here. Willow Draw is a pleasant place to go to nearby, and don't leave Hoppe Point Number Three Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Stoner Stock Trail.
Go for a hike on the Ormiston Point Stock Driveway; why not camp at Cozy Comfort RV Park and Mountain Retreat since you're here at Hoppe Point Number Three Reservoir. Any time is a pleasant time at Hoppe Point Number Three Reservoir if you adore the outdoors. Dunton Hot Springs is a good spot to get some rest, and going for a hike on the McPhee Stock Trail is always a fine adventure.

La Mesa RV Park

We stayed in this campground mid-July 2006. Very efficient, friendly park. Adequate power, water, and sewage hookups. Rates were reasonable; and the manager did indicate that longer stays were discounted. Nice fenced dog run for our puppies to enjoy. The microbrewery in town has a wide selection of locally made beverages. I would gladly stop at La Mesa RV Park again....

Puett Reservoir

A.M. Puett Reservoir was originally constructed in 1905, and then reconstructed in 1960. It contains 163 surface acres when full and is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife and open for public fishing from the bank and from trolling motor powered boats. No swimming is allowed. The lake is on private land and access is limited to 3 feet above the high water line....

Summit Reservoir

Summit Lake was constructed in 1905 and reconstructed and enlarged in 1938. It is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. No fires, swimming or overnight camping is allowed....
