You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sunlight Mountain since you're here; a fine close by hotel is Days Inn Carbondale. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Roaring Fork; close by you locate the Blue Creek Trail which is a fine hiking trail.
