Lake Hope is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. You get a magnificent view of Beattie Peak from Lake Hope, and a fine nearby hotel is Inn at Lost Creek. During the summertime months at Lake Hope temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lake Hope fall into the 0's.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Highline Trail, and if you need a place to stay Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a wonderful choice.
Lake Hope Dam is not far at all from Lake Hope; close by Poverty Gulch is a glorious place to go. Very scenic scenery and great skiing is what you get at Silverton. Lake Hope is a nearby lake that you could stop at; get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Mineral Creek - South.

a day to enjoy this site. Don't leave Lake Hope without first going for a hike along the Sheep Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Telluride. It is very waterless here at Lake Hope ordinarily; the wettest month
of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most; June on the other hand is the driest. Lake Hope is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, South Mineral Campground is a splendid local campground, and whitewater
paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Lime Creek.
There's delightful hiking along the Circle Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Hope that you need to camp here for a while, Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a brilliant site for that.
