This lake is so wonderful. Sunlight Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff; don't forget to take a perfect little spree to Jack Creek. There is a good hiking trail near Hooper Lake called the South Derby Trail; there are other sites here than Hooper Lake, for example Green Lake. During the months of summer at Hooper Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.       For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Hooper Lake. There's so much to do here at Hooper Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Coffee Pot Spring Campground is a tremendous site for that. Lakes? Sure, Hanging Lake is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Grizzly Creek; Willow Spring is a charming place to stop by while you're at Hooper Lake. If you came to camp Anderson                  Camps LTD is a perfect place to do that, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sweetwater Creek. The Blue Creek Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Hooper Lake; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. Hooper Lake is commonly a quite arid place; April is the wettest month with most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to Hooper Lake, you might not ever want to go home again.
