What a nice lake Homestake Reservoir is. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Camping at Homestake Reservoir is great fun, Gold Park Campground is a great local campground, and the good people of Edwards like to hang out nearby. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Eagle River; going for a hike on the Fall Creek Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is so wonderful.

the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Homestake Reservoir night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Not much rain falls here at Homestake Reservoir; July is when you get the most
rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month.
Near Homestake Reservoir you come across the Main Range Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a glorious place to get some rest, and you
can go for a hike on the Half Moon Trail. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawatch Range. Homestake Reservoir is a splendid site to camp, Mary Queen Campground is a splendid site, and what
would winter be without some skiing at Beaver Creek.
