There's so much to do here at Holywater Beaver Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Hughes Meadow Campground is a great place for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Holywater Beaver Ponds; South Pine Creek Trail is a nice local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Cooper is near Holywater Beaver Ponds; a brilliant                  close by hotel is Best Western Vista Inn. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Sawatch Range. Lakes? Sure, Fox Lake is close by; Holywater Beaver Ponds is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Colt Spring Campground is a wonderful local campground. After a long day outdoors Buena Vista Super 8 Motel is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Arkansas River. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Holywater Beaver Ponds, you'll find Kroenke Lake which is a lovely lake, and don't leave Holywater Beaver Ponds without first going for a hike along the Texas Creek Trail. Around Holywater Beaver Ponds you don’t get a lot of precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. Good hiking is available along the Horn Fork Trail, and the view of gorgeous Turner Peak is magnificent. The snow is good at Monarch, and why not a little side tour to Denny Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Sawatch Range.
