Sure, Ptarmigan Lake is around here, and a magnificent close by hotel is Best Western Vista Inn. Paddling on Clear Creek is so much fun; you can hit the slopes at Monarch around here. The warmest time of the year at Holywater Beaver Ponds arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's       with temperatures at Holywater Beaver Ponds dipping down into the-20's during winter nights. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area next to Holywater Beaver Ponds has to offer. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to take a look at near Holywater Beaver Ponds is Delaney Gulch, and you acquire a great vista of Turner Peak from here. Camping at Colt Spring Campground is always a nice experience, and glide down the rapids of Arkansas                  River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Hughes Meadow Campground is a tremendous spot to do that, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Cooper. Not far from Holywater Beaver Ponds, you'll discover Hartenstein Lake which is a beautiful lake, and Holywater Beaver Ponds is right by the Horn Fork Trail. Holywater Beaver Ponds in fact is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. There's some flowing water close by, Denny Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here, and do take a hike on the South Pine Creek Trail. It is very dry here at Holywater Beaver Ponds mostly; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is June. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range.
