Holita Reservoir gets very       little rain; most of the rain falls throughout August while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Holita Reservoir you can play some golf at Walsenburg Golf Club, and a lake nearby is Sharps Orchard Reservoir. Really fine skiing awaits you at Eldora; dry warm beds await you at Anchor Motel. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Holita Reservoir has                  to offer. Camping at Holita Reservoir is wonderful fun, Dakota Campground is a wonderful local campground.
