Going for a hike on the Hoy Trail is always a good adventure; you'll locate a pretty lake called Tittle Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Red Creek Campground since you're here at Hog Lake, and do pop by Rocky Reservoir, it's a delightful lake. Pugmire Pocket Campground is a wonderful local campground;       if you're here at Hog Lake, checking out Flynn Bottom is a must. Not much rainfall falls here at Hog Lake; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. All through the summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Hog Lake, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, usually in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Hog Lake during the wintertime frequently plunge into                  the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dinosaur National Monument is a fine local destination here at Hog Lake; nearby you discover tremendous sites like Chokecherry Draw. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be.
