Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hinkley Lake, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Hinkley Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Hinkley Lake is a location that is pretty dried out frequently; most of the rain falls through May while February is frequently       the driest month. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Hinkley Lake. Cobb Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. There's so much to do here at Hinkley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fort Collins North/wellington is a good spot for that, and a round of golf at nearby Mountain Vista Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. If you need a spot to stay Mulberry Inn is a fine choice, and there's whitewater                  on Cache La Poudre River for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hinkley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Ft Collins N/Wellington KOA; Motel 6 is a splendid site to get some rest. People from Fort Collins-Loveland love to come to Hinkley Lake, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes?
