This lake has a lot of huge bass, but you will definitely find that fishing is hard in the summer. You need to fish in the spring during spawnig season and when the water is at the highest.

If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Hine Lake. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hine Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Hine Lake. There's so much to do here at Hine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chatfield is a tremendous site for that, and you'll almost certainly meet some folks

along the Beaver Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Towneplace Suites By Marriott Denver Southwest; if you come at the right time of year, South Platte River offers some pleasant whitewater.
Now, you
may feel that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Hine Lake. You're almost certainly keen on lakes, Beers Sisters Lake Reservoir is one of those nearby, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Deer
Creek Golf Club is in close proximity. Polly A Deane Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here, and if you're here, you might as well check out Weaver Gulch. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Littleton, Co is a nice choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Bear Creek.
