So much fun stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range, too great to be true. Deeds Creek flows through this vicinity, and what would winter be without some skiing at Aspen Mountain. You can run the rapids of Roaring Fork near Himmelland Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Himmelland Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Elk Wallow Campground is a wonderful       spot for that. Man, is there lots of fun things to do in the Sawatch Range. Himmelland Dam is not far at all from Himmelland Reservoir; do explore Chapman Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do close to Himmelland Reservoir. Don't leave Himmelland Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Last Chance Trail; VillaHotel Bears Creek is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing                  to do around Himmelland Reservoir; Sawyer Lake Trail is a fine local trail, and you're sure to run into some good people from Edwards here. Through the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Himmelland Reservoir while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Himmelland Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Fryingpan River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and the slopes of Aspen Highlands are so inviting noone can resist. Himmelland Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. If you need a site to stay VillaHotel La Niche is a tremendous choice. There's nice hiking along the Chapman Trail, and Himmelland Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Dearhamer Campground is a tremendous local campground.
