Hilman Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious spot to camp here at Hilman Lake is Stunner Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Fork Trail. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is plentiful here in the San Juan Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hilman Lake; San Juan Stock Driveway is a great local       trail, and on a beautiful day you get a magnificent panorama of Klondike Mountain from Hilman Lake. A quick visit to Adams Fork Conejos River near Hilman Lake is a great idea; after a long day outdoors Allington Inn and Suites is a great spot to spend a night or two. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan Mountains. Paddling on Conejos River is so much fun. Take a hike on the Continental Divide Trail, and why not                  camp at Mix Lake Campground if you're here at Hilman Lake. Summertime highs at Hilman Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 60's with night lows in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hilman Lake are in the 0's.
