For the duration of the days of summer highs here at Highland Lake reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Highland Lake. Highland Lake is a location that is reasonably dried out ordinarily; May is the wettest month with most rain,       and February on the other hand is the driest. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Highland Lake. Big Owl Hill is trouble-free to spot from Highland Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Highland Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rising Star. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Johnson's Corner Campground, and South Platte River is a great whitewater spot close by. If you need a place to stay                  Days Inn Longmont is a good choice, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saint Vrain Creek - North. This is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Mead Reservoir is a lake close by, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Highland Reservoir is one of those close by. If you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Ute Creek Golf Course; dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn/Longmont.
