High Reservoir is near Ellermeyer Gulch which is unquestionably worth visiting, and do take a hike on the Spring Creek Trail. After a long day outdoors Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and the Morrison Trail offers hiking at its best. West Dolores Campground is a pleasant campground here, and dry warm beds await you at Dunton       Hot Springs. High temperatures at High Reservoir all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at High Reservoir temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Hesperus Ski Center has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and High Reservoir is right by the Priest Gulch Trail. This                  lake is so wonderful. Camping at High Reservoir is great fun, Priest Gulch Campground and RV is a great local campground; Bear Reservoir is a great lake close by. Bear Creek is a delightful local stream, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Dolores River.
