Silverton is a magnificent local ski area, and float down the rapids of Vallecito Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Hidden Lake you can take a hike along the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway; the slopes of Kendall Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Irving Lake       is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Vallecito Campground is a glorious local campground. Not much rain falls here at Hidden Lake; most of the rain falls during August while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. While you're here at Hidden Lake you can take                  a hike along the Deer Park Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Irving Creek. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Hidden Lake get into the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 40's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Hidden Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hidden Lake, you could also explore beautiful Lost Lake; Irving Peak is clearly visible from Hidden Lake.
