Hidden Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Water Wheel Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cebolla River. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. Having a brilliant time at Hidden Lake is easy. The Rough Creek Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Hidden Lake, and if

Hidden Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. Near Hidden Lake you stumble on the Bondholder Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Crystal Creek is near Hidden Lake and is always a bliss to stop by. Mountains. There's so much to do here at Hidden Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spruce Campground is a great location for that; whitewater paddling is great on Lake Fork Gunnison River. Now, you may think that's plenty
but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains. If the weather is good here at Hidden Lake, you can go for a hike along the Devils Hole Trail. For the duration of the summer months, highs commonly are
in the 70's at Hidden Lake. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Hidden Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. You'll need more than
a day to look at everything Hidden Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cebolla Campground; a nice place is Bar Gulch.
