On a perfect day at Hidden Lake you can take a hike along the Fish Creek Trail; if you came to camp Rio Chama RV Campground is a splendid location to do that. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Hidden Lake called the V Rock Trail, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Navajo River. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. You can run the rapids of Conejos       River near Hidden Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Dolomite Lake. Hidden Lake regularly gets a lot of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most snow, and June is the month with the least moisture. Aspen Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at, and Branding Iron Motel is a splendid place to get some rest. So much exciting stuff to do here at Hidden Lake, too nice to                  be true. East Meadow is a good site to check out, and the Leche Creek Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. All through the warm months at Hidden Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Hidden Lake through the wintertime mostly drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express PAGOSA SPRINGS. Hidden Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
