Hiawatha Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. During the warm months here at Hiawatha Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hiawatha Lake are in the 0's. Around Hiawatha Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of July       is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. If the weather is good here at Hiawatha Lake, you can go for a hike along the North Lone Pine Trail, and why not camp at Dowdy Lake - Arapaho National Forest since you're here at Hiawatha Lake. So many amusing things to do at Hiawatha Lake, so little time.
