Summertime       at Hermosa Dam arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows through the winter for Hermosa Dam tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a journey to Capulin Volcano National Monument since you're here at Hermosa Dam, and after a long day outdoors Budget Host Raton is a fine spot to spend a night or two.
