Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway; don't forget to take a fine little spree to Grouse Creek. At Hermit Number 1 Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month is February. Just can't get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Hiking along the Fern Creek Stock Driveway is pleasant fun, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Pagosa Resort.       And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more amusing stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Hermit Number 1 Reservoir is right next door to South Lazy U Dam which is a pretty place absolutely worth checking out, and a glorious location for whitewater paddling is Lake Fork Gunnison River. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Rio Grande; if you're here you can take a hike along the                  Cebolla Trail. Hermit Number 1 Reservoir is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
