It's always fun to stop by Hermit Number 1 Reservoir. Hermit Number 1 Reservoir is located in the San Juan Mountains. A glorious view of scenic Black Mountain is available from Hermit Number 1 Reservoir, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Cebolla Trail. This spot, the San Juan Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Some of the water nearby flows, like Grouse Creek, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Grande.

All through the summertime months highs here at Hermit Number 1 Reservoir reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down
to the 30's while Hermit Number 1 Reservoir night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a magnificent site to get some rest. Around Hermit Number 1 Reservoir
you don’t get a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month.
