Herman Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Mizpah Campground is a nice site to camp nearby. Herman Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Saint Louis Trail; the slopes of Arapahoe Basin are so inviting noone can resist. This lake is so wonderful. Key To The Rockies Lodging At Keystone is a good place to get some rest; a lake close by is Upper Urad Reservoir.       Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff near Herman Lake. After a long day outdoors Snake River Village Townhomes is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and folks from Silverthorne love to come here. Herman Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up typically; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is January. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy                  all the cool stuff in the Park Range. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Herman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Byers Creek Campground, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Clear Creek - West Fork. Throughout the summer at Herman Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Herman Lake. You can see Mount Bethel from Herman Lake, and Loveland is a perfect local ski area. That right there is plenty of fun things already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Fork Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Woods Creek offers some fine whitewater.
