In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Fork, and you could always explore Peekaboo Gulch. While you're here at Henschel Lake you can take a hike along the Star Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Henschel Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's.
