Henry Lake is a spot with many visitors from Denver-Aurora. There's so much to do here at Henry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chatfield is a great place for that. Hampton Inn DenverSW /Lakewood/ is a nice site to get some rest; get yourself into a kayak and hit South Platte River. Through the long summer days here at Henry Lake,       high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's while Henry Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Take a side trip to Weaver Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Henry Lake; Beaver Brook Trail is a wonderful local trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Henry Lake; the month with most of the rain is May while                  January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Southwest is a good place to spend a night or two; right next door to Henry Lake you hit upon a golf course called Pinehurst Country Club. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. Henry Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, South Park Mobile Home Park is a great local campground, and there are other spots here than Henry Lake, for example Interlaken Reservoir Number 1. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?
