It's always fun to stop by Henry Lake. At Henry Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest month is January. Henry Lake Dam is worth checking out since you're here, and why not camp at South Park Mobile Home Park since you're here at Henry Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Chatfield, and since you're here, you could also stop by gorgeous Bowles Reservoir Number One.

| | area, and do check out Stickford Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Denver-Southwest/Lakewood, and the fine folks of Denver-Aurora like to hang out close by. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a magnificent place right next door to Henry Lake, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Denver Southwest is a good choice.

in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Henry Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Be careful coming to Henry Lake, you might not ever wanna return
back home again. A golf course near Henry Lake is Pinehurst Country Club; get yourself into a kayak and hit South Platte River.
This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Bear Creek offers some great whitewater, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Beaver Brook Trail.
