Steamboat Springs Koa Steamboat Springs Koa is a great campground here, and at Martin Dam in the vicinity of Henderson Reservoir there are some attention-grabbing things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn By Marriott Steamboat Springs, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Martin Creek Reservoir. Near Henderson Reservoir       you hit upon the Muddy Slide Trail which is a good hiking trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Howelsen Hill. Camping at Henderson Reservoir is fine fun, Stagecoach is a fine local campground, and nearby you find Yellow Jacket Pass which is a great place to visit. Oak Tree Inn Yampa is a tremendous place to get some rest. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Henderson Reservoir. You can run the rapids of Elk River near Henderson Reservoir,                  and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Steamboat if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. The Service Creek Trail is a great hiking trail near Henderson Reservoir, and there are plenty of people from Edwards here. At Henderson Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is June. All through the summer months at Henderson Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Henderson Reservoir tend to be in the 0's.
