If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Henderson Lake. If only every site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. Henderson Lake Dam is pretty and it's near Henderson Lake, and you can stay the night at Transfer Park Campground. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Henderson Lake. A quick spree to Aspen Creek in close proximity to Henderson Lake is a brilliant idea, and Big Bear Park is a nice place here at Henderson Lake. stay Tamarron Resort is a pleasant choice. Not much rain falls here at Henderson Lake; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is June. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Henderson Lake with nighttime lows
in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Henderson Lake. Kendall Mountain has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and there's wonderful hiking along the Highline Trail.
Having a pleasant time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is easy. Bear Creek Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and the Whitehead Trail offers hiking at its best. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the San Juan and
Jemez Mountains. Drift down the rapids of Canyon Creek in a kayak; dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Tamarron. Henderson Lake is right by the Deer Park Trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Four Base Lake.
