The beauty of Hematite Lake attracts many people from all around. Skiing at Silverton is one of those things you just should do; while you're here, you could pop by Arrastra Creek. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Cataract Basin is right here at Hematite Lake; the vista of Dome Mountain is delightful. If you came for an overnight stay Silver Summit RV Park And Jeep Rentals is a pleasant place to camp, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Blair Lake. paddling is perfect on Mineral Creek - South, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Best Western Twin Peaks Motel. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do right next door to Hematite Lake. Boulder Gulch is a brilliant location to
stop by nearby. Hematite Lake is pretty dehydrated mostly; August is when you get the most rain here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The San Juan and
Jemez Mountains is excellent! Why not camp at Silverton Lakes Campground while you're here at Hematite Lake; St.Elmo Hotel is a magnificent place to get some rest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the San Juan
and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Don't leave Hematite Lake without first going for a hike along the Brooklyn Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Lime Creek. For the period of the summertime at Hematite Lake temperatures
are mostly in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Hematite Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
