Beautiful Hematite Lake has much to offer visitors. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the San Juan Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Silverton is in the neighborhood of Hematite Lake, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ouray is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. So many entertaining things in the San Juan Mountains, just phenomenal. Camping at Silverton Lakes Campground is always a good experience, and the peak of Dome Mountain can be spotted from Hematite
Lake. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Hematite Lake has it all. Take a hike on the Brooklyn Trail, and Boulder Gulch is definitely a good place to have a look at. Hematite Lake is one of the lakes here in
the San Juan Mountains.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lime Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Deer Park Trail offers hiking at its best, and Cataract Basin is a splendid place.
