Deer Creek is a stream that you may come across while here; the Tepee Creek Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Camping is available at Red Mountain RV Park, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Arapaho Creek Trail. Through the summertime months here at Heini Reservoir, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The       cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Heini Reservoir overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. At Heini Dam close to Heini Reservoir there are some out of the ordinary things to see; camping at Wolford Campground is always a pleasant experience. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Steamboat. Heini Reservoir is pretty arid generally; the month                  with most of the snow is December while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Having a delightful time in the Park Range is easy. While you're here at Heini Reservoir, you could also check out stunning Hinman Reservoir, and Allington Inn and Suites of Kremmling is a great site to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. McElroy Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and whitewater paddling is great on Colorado River. This place, Heini Reservoir, it truly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff.
