It's always fun to stop by Heini Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Gore Pass Campground is a nice site to camp, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Blue River. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Arapaho Creek Trail, and do stop by Deer Creek since you're here at Heini Reservoir. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Park Range.

| | assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Hiking along the Midway Trail is tremendous fun, and do go to Heini Dam if you're here. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Steamboat, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Colorado River. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful.

of December you get the most snow around here; August meanwhile is the driest month. Through the months of summer highs here at Heini Reservoir reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs through the wintertime
are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Heini Reservoir dip into the-10's. While you're here at Heini Reservoir you can take a hike along the Tepee Creek Trail, and why not camp at Red Mountain RV Park since you're here at Heini Reservoir.
