This lake is so wonderful. The Inn at Grand Lake is a great location to get some rest, and drift down the rapids of Cache La Poudre River in a kayak. It is very dried up here at Haynach Lakes commonly; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is November. During the summer months at Haynach Lakes temperatures are typically in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 30's. Highs       during the winter are typically in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Haynach Lakes temperatures plunge to the 0's.
