All the outdoors cool stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back many times. There's so much to do here at Hayes Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Bearadise Cabins and RV Park is a magnificent location for that; for you golfers we recommend nearby Grandote Peaks Golf Course. Through the summer months highs here at Hayes Reservoir reach the 80's, and through       the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Hayes Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous area for people who like lakes. Butte Reservoir is a lake around here, and hiking along the Peaks Trail is pleasant fun. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hayes Reservoir. Goemmer Butte is simple to spot from Hayes Reservoir, and Hayes Reservoir                  is right by the Wade Trail. A pleasant close by hotel is Rio Cucharas Inn And Restaurant; Echo Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Walensburg is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Not far from Hayes Reservoir you get some fine water scenery at Mill Lake Dam, and a day on the slopes of Eldora is just what you need. Hayes Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. The Black Hills Trail offers hiking at its best, and Hayes Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Circle The wagons RV Resort is a perfect local campground. Hayes Reservoir is a location that is quite dehydrated usually; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful.
