without taking a look at Wilkerson Spring, and dry warm beds await you at Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC. Any time is a tremendous time at Haycamp Point Reservoir if you love the outdoors. Haycamp Point Reservoir is tremendous
enough to spend more than a day at, Emerson Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Mesa Verde National Park is a good national park. There's so much to do here at Haycamp Point Reservoir that you need to camp here for a
while, The Forks Campground is a perfect place for that, and do take a hike on the Lost Canyon Stock Driveway. Dunton Hot Springs is a brilliant place to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Stoner Stock Trail.

Summit Reservoir
 | Summit Lake was constructed in 1905 and reconstructed and enlarged in 1938. It is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company. It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. No fires, swimming or overnight camping is allowed.... |
Puett Reservoir

It contains 163 surface acres when full and is owned and operated by the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company.  | 15 miles away We stayed in this campground mid-July 2006. Very efficient, friendly park. Adequate power, water, and sewage hookups. Rates were reasonable; and the manager did indicate that longer stays were discounted. Nice fenced dog run for our puppies to enjoy. The microbrewery in town has a wide selection of locally made beverages. I would gladly stop at La Mesa RV Park again.... |
