The beauty of Hay Press Lake is reason enough to stop by. All through the summer here at Hay Press Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 30's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Hay Press Lake. This lake is so wonderful. | | Lake Fork National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Wolf Creek for all you thrill seekers, and why not camp at Mining Camp RV Resort if you're here at Hay Press Lake.

Lake is pretty dried out generally; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is June.
What a place this is for outdoors folks. Put some time aside to
spend at Wagon Wheel Springs while you're here at Hay Press Lake; if you need a spot to stay Willow Creek Cabins is a good choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rio Grande, and Hay
Press Park Dam has good water scenery. Be careful coming to the San Juan Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Hay Press Lake is right by the Farmers Creek Trail, and it's a great idea to check out Fisher Creek.
This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. The Highline Trail offers hiking at its best, and a wonderful place to camp here at Hay Press Lake is Broken Arrow Ranch.
