Go for a hike on the Cureranti Pass Trail, and Hay Park Reservoir is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Cimarron Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby. Hay Park Reservoir is a location that is relatively arid mostly; during October this area sees the most rain while June is commonly the driest month. Hay Park Reservoir called the Hartman Trail, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Montrose is a pleasant site to spend a night or two.
Big Hill is clearly visible from Hay Park Reservoir, and don't forget to take a perfect
little journey to Quacker Creek. Through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Hay Park Reservoir; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hay Park Reservoir.
