Sunlight Mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity; there are some great whitewater spots on Crystal River. While you're here at Hawk Ditch Reservoir you can play some golf at River Valley Ranch Golf Club, and from Hawk Ditch Reservoir you acquire a nice panorama of Red Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Barbers Gulch is a magnificent location to spend some time at, and don't leave Hawk Ditch Reservoir       without first going for a hike along the Blue Creek Trail. There's some flowing water close by, Crystal River is a stream you can explore during your stay; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful.
