Many people like to go to Haviland Lake. Haviland Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is bountiful here in the San Juan Mountains. Don't leave Haviland Lake without first going for a hike along the Highline Trail; Tamarron Resort is a nice location to get some rest. Nary Draw is a great spot to go to nearby, and what would winter be without some skiing at Silverton.

Camping at Durango Koa Kampground is always a brilliant experience, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Kendall Mountain since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some cheerful folks from Durango here, and Canyon Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. There's no way anyone can get
bored here in the San Juan Mountains. Haviland Lake Dam has magnificent water scenery and it's near Haviland Lake; dry warm beds await you at Cascade Village. There's splendid hiking along the Circle Trail, and Haviland Lake is fine
enough to spend more than a day at, Haviland Lake Campground is a fine local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a little spree to Canyon Creek since you're here at Haviland Lake, and a magnificent spot for whitewater
paddling is Animas River. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. High temperatures at Haviland Lake through the summer months are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Haviland Lake are in the 0's.
