Hassell Lake is a nice lake to visit. Very stunning scenery and great skiing is what you get at Arapahoe Basin, and a fine site to camp here at Hassell Lake is Floral Park Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. At Hassell Lake you can spot Mount Machebeuf, and Butler Gulch is another delightful place to stop at close by. All the outdoors exciting things in the Park Range will keep you coming back over and over. Get your pulse rate up on

This lake is so wonderful. You could also visit Upper Urad Reservoir if you're here at Hassell Lake; it's nearby; an attention-grabbing thing to go to in the neighborhood of Hassell Lake is Upper Urad Dam.

Nearby lakes? Sure, Lower Urad Reservoir is near Hassell Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Woods Creek. For the duration of the warm months at Hassell Lake highs are usually
in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while Hassell Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. There's good hiking along
the South Fork Trail; Hassell Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Mizpah Campground is a glorious local campground.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff close to Hassell Lake. Good hiking is available
along the Mount Nystrom Trail. It is very dried up here at Hassell Lake ordinarily; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful.
